Project Wish List

#gentoo
#mythtv
#iscsi
#openfiler

I’ve been in the new place for a little over a month now and I’m itching to do some more projects! Here’s a quick 10,000 foot view:

  • Upgrade desktop to Gentoo Linux
  • Setup new NAS with Openfiler
  • Setup new router with Vyatta
  • Configure my MythTV box with iscsi storage on the new NAS

Seems like I have my work cut out for me… I’ll probably start with the desktop upgrade since that seems like the fastest one to complete. (I’m talking stage 3 install here :D ) At any rate, I’ll post all of my exploits here for posterity’s sake.

Happy hacking!
