Dan Electro Show
Letters to Voltron played a decent set last night at Dan Electro’s guitar bar. Upon arrival, we couldn’t help but notice the friendliness of the Owner Bob and his staff. We were slated to go on at 9:00 pm, but the show got pushed back to almost 10:00 due to a band having to cancel.
All and all it was a good performace (not our best by any means)… It was a good example of how our on-stage sound can effect our performance. On stage the volume was so low that we could have farted and heard everything. That is definately NOT what we are used to… As a consequence of that, our show was somewhat subdued. Some of us missed some cues and other minor things… (my rig volume was all over the place it seemed like). I’ve only been to a handful of places that understand the way my rig is setup. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why some sound guys just don’t get it. Anyway, JW and I have been tying to figure out several ways to attract more fans. There’s talk of song change-ups and revamped costumes and such.
I’ll catch you on the flip side…
Cheers!! :P
